Solar can feel like a big, confusing leap. It does not have to be. Here is how to start small, understand the core components, and scale up to a whole-home system when you are ready.
The path to home solar does not have to begin with a five-figure installation. Many of our customers start with portable and accent products, get comfortable with the idea, and scale up from there.
Step 1 — Start portable
A portable solar power bank or a compact solar generator is a low-commitment way to experience solar directly — useful for travel, patios, and emergencies, and genuinely informative about how much sun your space gets.
Step 2 — Light the outdoors for free
Solar pathway lights, garden lights, and motion-sensor security lights need no wiring and pay for themselves in avoided electricity. They are the easiest permanent solar you can own.
Step 3 — Go whole-home
